Nesso's Holiday Meal Giveaway: Spreading Joy to Families in Need this Season

The holiday season is a time for giving, and at Nesso, we believe in supporting our community with compassion. We're thrilled to announce our Nesso Community Initiative – a Holiday Meal Giveaway aimed at supporting families in Leeds who depend on school meal schemes for their children. This initiative is not only about providing meals but about spreading hope and kindness.

With the rising costs of living, we understand that the holidays can bring additional challenges for many families. Through this program, we aim to ease some of that pressure by ensuring children and families enjoy a delicious holiday meal, even if times are tough.

How the Community Can Help: Double Your Donation

Nesso invites the generous people of Leeds to be a part of this initiative. For every £1.00 donation you make, Nesso will match it – effectively doubling your impact. Our goal is to raise £75 from community donations and match it with an additional £75 to reach a total of £150. This will cover the cost of 50 meal bags.

Online Gift Cards: You can contribute online through our gift card portal.
In-Person: Drop by Nesso in Morley to donate directly and learn more about the initiative.

Every small donation helps, and every contribution is a step toward making the holidays brighter for families in our community.

Who's Eligible?

This initiative is open to families who rely on school meal schemes to help cover their children's nutritional needs. If this applies to you or someone you know, we encourage you to reach out. To ensure privacy, simply email manager.nesso@gmail.com with a short message before 5th December. Our team will review all applications and, if eligible, provide a unique Nesso code for pick-up.

What's Included in Each Holiday Meal Bag?

On 24th December, between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM, we'll be distributing meal bags at Nesso in Morley. Each bag includes:

1 sandwich
1 bag of crisps
1 juice
1 Italian biscuit

This simple yet hearty meal is intended to bring a bit of joy to families on Christmas Eve morning. Please note that, as these meals are a gift, we are unable to accommodate any dietary restrictions or allergies.

A Community Movement – Share the Spirit

We're calling on the people of Leeds to help spread the word. Share this blog with friends, family, and on social media, so we can reach as many families as possible. Even if we don't reach our fundraising goal, Nesso is committed to fully funding the initiative to ensure no one misses out.
